Erection of the barn frame

We got a great start on the barn today. We had wind/snow spurts while we flew the roof sections on and way worse wind once we got them nailed/strapped.

Really glad Brady came by and tack welded the post bases to the base plate tops for the concrete piers.

House Permit is in hand, finally

The barn frame, the so called bents are now assembled and ready for erection...er...erecting

We have had a long wait and now we have the permit and a ton of stuff to do.

Barn erection starts today...stay tuned for photos, etc. We had enough dry weather to get into the site with the big crane....

65 today, major snows called for starting tonight through Friday night....calling for feet on the last day of winter
this hole is 8 ft deep and 30 inches in diameter....four of those and 14 holes 6 ft by 18 inches....it's just a barn
